By Chamber annual business expo

The Los Altos Chamber of Commerce’s 13th annual Business EXPO 2001 is scheduled 4-7 p.m., April 26, at the Los Altos Youth Center, 1 N. San Antonio Road.

The event will feature Los Altos retailers, restaurants, professionals and services coming together to show off under one roof.

Attendees will have an opportunity to win raffle prizes donated by local merchants. Individual businesses will also offer prize drawing opportunities at their displays. Admission is $5. For more information, call 948-1455.

American Business Women’s Association

The Changing Times chapter of The American Business Women’s Association holds its monthly dinner meetings on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 2885 Lakeside Drive, Santa Clara. Coming monthly programs include precision selling the Business Associate Event (April 18), the educational awards presentation (May 16) and the Woman of the Year Celebration (June 20). Cost is $25. For reservations, contact Robin James at (408) 938-2216. Reservations must be made by the Friday prior to each meeting.

The Technology and Society Committee

The Technology and Society Committee meets for lunch and a speaker at 11:45 a.m. on alternate Tuesdays at the Golden Wok, 895 Villa St., Mountain View.

The luncheon is $7.50 for members, $8.50 for non-members. Call Bob Kirby at 969-7215 for more information.
