By Positive coaching parent workshop

The Blach, Oak, and Springer PTAs have scheduled a positive coaching workshop, 7- 8:30 p.m., tonight, in the multipurpose room at Blach School, 1120 Covington Road, Los Altos. For parents only, the workshop will feature Jim Thompson of the Positive Coaching Alliance, who will discuss current trends in youth sports and how to encourage positive sportsmanship. Rummage sale at Parents Preschool

Parents Nursery School is holding its annual rummage sale 8 a.m. to noon, today, at the school, 2328 Louis Road, Palo Alto. Items for sale will include clothing, toys, books and houseware items. Proceeds benefit the non-profit school. After 9:30 a.m., items will be half off and after 11 a.m., items are $3 a bag. For more information, call 938-5812.

Spring registration at De Anza College

Spring quarter registration for new and former students at De Anza College is scheduled through Tuesday. Late walk-in registration and applications will be accepted 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., April 4 and 5, in the lobby of the Administration Building. For admission information, call, (408) 864-5300. Montclaire sings spring concert

Montclaire School Morning Chorus, consisting of 35 students from second through sixth grades, will perform a spring concert, “Songs from the Decades,” 3:30-4:30 p.m., tomorrow, at Pilgrim Haven Rest Home in Los Altos. The chorus will feature songs from 1900 to the present. For more information, call 967-9388.
