The Battle for America’s Health Care, is the theme of two meetings sponsored by the Los Altos-Mountain View League of Women Voters in cooperation with El Camino Hospital and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation.

Topics for discussion include Medicare HMOs, prescription drugs for seniors, patient protection under managed care, universal access and the uninsured.

Dr. Richard Wheat will moderate the first meeting, Saturday, at El Camino Hospital, 2500 Grant Road, Mountain View.

The second meeting will be May 6, at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation Auditorium, 795 El Camino Real, Palo Alto.

The public is invited to attend either or both meetings, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
